last day - he brought back over 125 lbs. of salmon and halibut. was i whining before about how to eat all that? guess i'd better get started "helping" mom and dad consume all that fresh, vacuum packed goodness...

. . . not too shabby, pop

so, dad's up in alaska, at the el capitan lodge, having a ball, and obviously catching a lot of fish - i can count thirty three. that's the daily limit of coho and halibut, plus three king salmon! w00t! go dad!
btw, it's said that only old men should go to alaska, young men who visit spend their entire lives trying to get back. pops says that it's about 50 degrees, sunny, and incredibly beautiful. i believe him, and almost wish i was there. but then again, he's old (snicker) and i'm still young...
